SOPHIE LANE CURTIS is a filmmaker & creative director from New York City. She attended the 75th Venice International Film Festival for her starring role in Amir Naderi’s "Magic Lantern" and supporting role in Brady Corbet’s "Vox Lux". She began acting at a young age, but realized her passion for creating her own stories, while studying film at UC Berkeley.

“ON OUR WAY” marks Sophie’s writing & directing debut, starring Jordana Brewster, James Badge Dale, Micheál Richardson, Keith Powers, Paul Ben-Victor, with Ruby Modine, Vanessa Redgrave, and Franco Nero. “ON OUR WAY” premiered at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and was listed by screendaily as one of their “best films of 2021”. sophie also received “breakout director of the year” at ischia global film festival 2022. It is set to have a theatrical release may 2023.

Sophie is currently in pre-production on her next feature, while also breaking into the commercial world. Most notably she has directed & styled several ad campaigns for the highly regarded fashion brands, Morgan Lane, Jill Stuart and Chloe Gosselin with collabs including monopoly and care bears.
